Common Enclosed Busbar is a compact large-current power transmission device that encapsulates three-phase (or multi-phase) busbar conductors in a single grounded rectangular or circular metal enclosure. Unlike phase-separated enclosed busbars, its conductors are fixed and isolated by insulators or insulation brackets within the same enclosure-achieving high space efficiency while maintaining safe insulation distances. product is primarily used for medium-low voltage (up to 35kV) large-current applications such as medium and large generator outlets and auxiliary power systems, offering simple structure, cost-effectiveness, easy installation/maintenance, and excellent electromagnetic shielding-playing a key role in thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power, and large industrial projects.

 

The structural design of Common Enclosed Busbar features a sealed metal enclosure (welded high-quality aluminum or steel plate) with copper or aluminum busbars supported by high-strength ceramic or epoxy resin insulators. The grounded enclosure forms a Faraday cage, confining alternating magnetic fields generated by the busbars internally-eliminating phase-to-phase short-circuit risks, preventing eddy current heating in nearby steel structures, reducing electrodynamic effects during short circuits, and protecting against environmental hazards (dust, moisture, small animals) via sealed or micro-positive pressure inflation designs. It is available in natural air-cooled or forced air-cooled variants to meet different current-carrying requirements.
